BIMCO new ‘Force Majeure’ clause addresses COVID issues

We have previously posted on the impact of COVID on Force Majeure clauses. BIMCO has published a new model clause to address force majeure events occurring under contracts used in the shipping industry, which (amongst other matters), addresses issues arising from delays caused by COVID 19.  The clause is designed to be adapted to differing contracts and contexts.
